Deborah has chaired this clinical network for the North East and Cumbria since 2009, bringing together doctors, nurses, and managers with specialist commissioners to build improved neonatal services for premature babies and their families across all NHS units in the region.
A primary concern for the last five years has been the reorganisation and consolidation of services.
